COMMOD “The Little Black One” with its 48 m² GFA fits naturally into the breathtaking surroundings in the middle of the Austrian Alps thanks to the screwed foundations and the flat roof. It looks a little like it’s floating and floor sealing is definitely not an issue here. The color chosen for the spruce wood facade also blends in harmoniously with nature. The play of light and shadow creates different shades of black on the facade.
The generous window fronts and the open rooms make you feel like you are part of the landscape. This concept is also underlined by the open bathroom with a free-standing bathtub. Well protected from the harsh climate outside by the beautiful wooden façade, the living area is flooded with light and bright on the inside.
Light as a feather, the little black one serves as a weekend home for a family with two children and offers the ideal place to regain strength in the middle of nature. The living space appears to be significantly larger thanks to the open-plan terrace.
