The Link | Commercial Workplace Strategy & Interior Architecture | LinkedIn Campus, San Francisco
The Link is a purpose-built workplace amenity space within the LinkedIn campus in San Francisco, designed to strengthen employee connection, encourage collaboration, and support a flexible, people-first workplace. Created as an alternative to traditional meeting rooms, the space fosters spontaneous interaction, informal conversations, focused work, and moments of recharge—key elements of today's high-performing hybrid workplace.
As Design Strategy Lead, I translated the workplace vision into a successful commercial interior environment by directing the design strategy from concept through execution. Working across disciplines, I led a multidisciplinary team of interior designers, workplace strategists, contractors, project managers, consultants, and client stakeholders to ensure every design decision aligned with the project's business objectives, employee experience goals, budget, and delivery schedule.
The interior architecture balances hospitality-inspired comfort with workplace functionality through a carefully curated mix of lounge seating, café-style gathering spaces, banquettes, private booths, and individual work settings. Every element was intentionally designed to support multiple work styles while creating a welcoming environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, wellbeing, and productivity.
This project demonstrates my approach to commercial workplace design—combining strategic thinking, interior architecture, and cross-functional leadership to create flexible office environments that strengthen company culture and enhance the employee experience. By guiding the design process from vision to completion, I helped deliver a workplace that not only meets operational requirements but also inspires meaningful connection, engagement, and long-term business value.
