Architect.
It is my belief that Architecture must serve, aside from utilitarian purposes, a poeticts of living, so in the essence Architecture is there to exalt human life and activities.
The Lake House offers it´s owners the celebration of simple enjoyment of nature, the waterfront and it´s greenery, simple activities such as row-boat and deck fishing and the contemplation of natural beauty and serenity.
This house is a response to these elementary pleasures. A Sinamaica inspired palafito structure posed between the water and the shore, surrounded by nature on a lake community: a bridge between the man made world and the natural landscape.
A place for returning to, after a day of mundane activities, the quiet and basic experiences of solitude and intimacy.
Special enphasis has been made in the free connection and ultimate integration with the Veranda from all spaces, for the enjoyment of the different views.
The renders depict the house in the begining of fall, with the richness of colors and soft light of the ambience in this time of the year.
The building solution is a compact steel structure with all modern conveniences and secure implantation on the site, with beautiful landscaping, site works and sculptures.
The program includes the following spaces:
1. A covered Carport.
2. Entrance Promenade with Water Garden and Sculptures.
3. Entrance vestibule.
4. 2 bedrooms.
5. 1 studio.
6. 2 bathrooms.
7. 1 auxiliary bathroom adyacent to the studio.
8. Open Kitchen with pantry.
9. Dinning area.
10. Differeent Living spaces all opening to the surronding Veranda
-Semi-formal Living room.
-Music and reading space.
-Sitting and relaxing space.
11. Perimeter Veranda, as an expansion of living and sleeping spaces to nature.
