This is a redesign of The Kitchen Restaurant on a plot of vacant land in Boulder, Colorado. This was my Studio 2 design final project. On the site was a historically preserved existing structure which we could not manipulate except the possibility to widen doorways to allow handicapped accessibility. All code for historic preservation had to be followed, along with handicapped accessibility, boulder building code, and zoning regulations.
