The Grand Mansion Hotel in Nanjing, China, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide,
Inc. and a part of their Luxury Collection Hotels, opened in 2015. The Grand Mansion Hotel,
is part of the Nanjing Hanfujie Plaza Complex located next to the Presidential Palace and
Meiyuan Village - two national historical landmarks. The hotel makes up part of the two
L-shaped volumes with a Chinese garden in the heart of the complex and the other half
of the complex is occupied by the Six Dynasties Museum. The building complex is unified
inside and out by the use of a beige limestone and glass.
The hotel boasts several options for dinning including a lounge, a Chinese restaurant and
an all-day dining at The Atrium. The hotel features 158 luxurious guestrooms, including 15
suites and a Presidential Suite. It also included a range of Leisure facilities, such as a fitness
center, indoor heated pool and luxurious spa. It features flexible meeting spaces, including
a grand ballroom spanning nearly 6000 square feet and seven distinct, spacious meeting
rooms. The public spaces are all sunlit and surrounded by means of patios and sky lights.
One unique feature of this hotel is The Traveller's Library. It is China's largest hotel library
with over 3,000 books as well as local antiques and global treasures that pay tribute to
numerous voyages by global explorers around the world.
