PROGRAM: The Beinecke Rare Books Library is now full. Design an archive to house extremely valuable, light and heat sensitive materials. Include gallery space and a large, secure reading room. SOLUTION: Control light and circulation through a series of sculptural penetrations. Hold the street corner firmly to create a new campus monument at this under utilized campus entrance.
