What Style of Home Suits You?
The Eternity Verdure Rama 9 - Wongwaen, located between Rama 9 and Krungthep Kreetha, boasts 70 units and is among the housing projects designed by mArchten. Although the basic functions were dictated by the primary needs of the residents, the excitement of this project lies in interpreting the unique character of each home into the interior design for three distinct styles suited to three different families, each with their preferences and lifestyles.
mArchten derived the design concept from Sathaporn Estate, the project owner, who emphasized "Borderless" living spaces that cater to every family member's needs. The design facilitates both private areas and shared family spaces, achieving this through a core Mood & Tone of Modern Luxury that seamlessly blends modernity with elegance. The focus is on a color palette of white, black, gray, and brown, with marble patterns as the primary material highlight.
The concepts—ARCADIA, IDYLLIC, and LUXURIANT—were established to analyze functional interpretations, considering the sample profiles of residents in the development. This involves understanding what activities they enjoy, their professions, age range, and family size, to craft homes that genuinely reflect their lifestyles.
ARCADIA
The design narrative of the ARCADIA home is shaped by a deliberate choice of subtle and understated color palettes, focusing on black, brown, and orange hues reminiscent of vintage furniture from past decades. These tones are artfully blended with modern furniture pieces, introducing a sense of elegance and sophistication that complements the vintage appeal.
Raw elements are skillfully integrated to enhance the design's boldness, featuring strategic use of black and wooden accents throughout key areas of the home. The living space, for instance, is highlighted by versatile steel shelving with adjustable height, allowing both functionality and style to coexist seamlessly. Further enriching the home's modern edge, the door and window openings are framed with black aluminum, instilling a sense of sleek refinement throughout the residence. This thoughtful interplay of colors and materials not only conveys a sense of robustness but also elegantly balances modern luxury with vintage charm.
IDYLLIC
The standout feature of the IDYLLIC home is the strategic use of red accents scattered throughout various parts of the house to infuse vibrancy and stimulate creativity in every corner. This is complemented by the use of gold from furniture pieces and decorative walls, adding a shimmering reflection that catches the eye. The enlivening presence of red is incorporated into all aspects of the house, from smaller items like sofas and chairs to decorative walls with diverse materials that still adhere to this red theme.
The main family area embraces an open-plan concept, incorporating both living and dining spaces. Boundaries are creatively marked using sofa arrangements instead of constructing walls, which helps to maintain an open, airy feel while allowing room for future family expansions. This approach not only reduces a sense of enclosure but also provides flexibility for the evolving needs of the family.
LUXURIANT
A well-designed environment is pivotal to enhancing quality of life, and the LUXURIANT home exemplifies this principle through its emphasis on communal family spaces. The expansive living area is intentionally designed to accommodate all family members, providing ample space for everyone while preserving individual personal spaces. This living area acts as a central hub for family gatherings, fostering connection and togetherness.
The design of LUXURIANT encapsulates a blend of elegance and simplicity, reflected in its carefully chosen color palette of brown, white, green, and gold. These colors are thoughtfully implemented to exude an air of understated luxury and warmth, which permeates the home. The use of earthy browns and greens creates a soothing, natural ambiance, while gold accents add a touch of opulence, harmonizing with clean whites to maintain a balance of sophistication and comfort.
This holistic approach to design ensures that every aspect of the home supports both communal living and personal privacy, making it a perfect retreat for families who value both shared experiences and personal space.
Personalized Home Design
While the fundamental functions of these homes are aligned with the primary needs of the residents, the unique interior character crafted for the three different family styles allows each design to diverge significantly according to individual tastes. This thoughtful personalization by mArchten ensures that each home not only meets practical needs but also resonates with the distinct preferences and lifestyles of its inhabitants.
