The Dining Womb
The Dining
Womb is the
creation of a luxury-dining environment juxtaposed by the very simple materials
involved in the making. There is an intriguing dance between interior and
exterior: the viewer, and the object of their gaze. Form creates an
ever-changing variety of moiré effects while the vertical sections limit vision
and form the illusion of privacy. Most of the materials are 100% recyclable, maintaining a
small carbon footprint while taking a playful attitude with designed luxury. Our block maximizes the strength and
linear qualities of cardboard, and through repetition of section, creates a
continuous core volume.
