The Crossings
The Crossings is a progressive learning center, conference center, and retreat facility built on a portion of a 200-acre tract near Lake Travis, west of Austin, Texas. The parcel contains habitat for endangered Golden Cheeked Warblers, so the utmost care was used in minimizing the “footprint” of the facility and in protecting certain areas of the land from disturbance. The site design and layout of the buildings was guided by the clients’ desire to connect their guests with the beautiful Hill Country landscape and its surroundings.
