We asked (we asked ourselves) that people throughout their stories often identified with the dream. And we decided that are the stars. Stars were accompanied humans during their lives. Mariners to chart their courses by the stars, astronomers determined the fates of the people and countries, lovers made wishes looking at the starry sky. Stars are widely presented in heraldry, in religious symbolism, on the large number of flags of states, military symbols, and in many other ways.
Therefore, we decided to make our “Dream Hall” as a star with the visitors could be located inside the pavilion and on the surface thereof. The pavilion is a five-pointed star. One beam is horizontal, the other three are at an angle to the surface of the pavilion roof, and the last is with a bias to the ground, so it would be a way for the visitors to go up to the pavilion roof.
Inside and outside the oblique beams there are the spectator seats for the visitors, for listening to the lectures or watching movies. In the center of the star and the horizontal beam can be located space for companionship, for cafe tables, dancing, etc. Entrance to the hall is in a horizontal beam.
The pavilion walls are painted in a dark color and the walls have the cut pattern of different size stars which is illuminated from within and especially at night creates an effect of starry sky.
The frame of the pavilion is made of wood glued beam 250X250 mm., crates of timber 50X50 mm.
The walls are made of plywood, floors and roof are made of decking. Frame joints-metal plates with bolts.
Pavilion is designed collapsible. It can be assembled entirely on another location. Also, it can exist as the separate elements. It can be indoor or outdoor observation deck (one of the oblique beams of the star), a covered gazebo (the central part of the star), a small cafe (the horizontal beam and the central part of the star).
Also, the pavilion can be assembled from the three beams of the star.
We hope every visitor will enjoy being in our pavilion... and in particular, to dream...
