The Central (formerly 14 Below) wanted to remodel their space. The ceiling, wall coverings, and flooring were ripped out to expose the original brick, concrete and joists of the old pharmacy. The bar is composed of steel tiles - each tile is laser cut and etched with a unique name for ease of assembly. The tiles overlap to allow the backlighting to slip through the openings. The walnut butcher block bar top caps the all-steel bar. The massive door installed on the interior is meant to match the industrial feel of the bar. It is fabricated with standard steel angle and channel sizes. Our next project here is the exterior. Come by and have a drink! Cheers!
