The circumstances imposed by the current rhythm and lifestyle have made us reflect on the essential aspects for the creation of spaces where users can feel and enjoy its benefits.
Today it’s essential to work in welcoming spaces, where space and emotions flow within an environment of freedom, creativity and spontaneity. Circulations and furniture that follow the natural rhythm of human movements.
“Our priority is to create sheltered spaces, adapted to human beings. The main idea is to achieve spaces similar to maternal cloisters, animal’s refuges and troglodytes who sculpted underground. Not a step backwards but a meditated reconciliation”. (Javier Senosiain, Bio-architecture)
Two atmospheres were created, separated by a winding tunnel that leads to both areas: private and the workshop.
The workshop space has two large and winding work tables, where the creative staff works either individually or collaboratively; one for computer design and the other for modeling the project models.
This large space opens onto a pleasant multipurpose terrace where collaborators can eat, rest or work, with views to the park and the city in the background.
The private atmosphere is made up of two cubicles looking alike as caves and a circular meeting room for private and client meetings.
The original space was a rectangular prism delimited by square walls and windows. To define the new spaces, pine wood skeletons were designed in the transversal direction, lined with thin wooden strips in the other direction and maple root veneer as the finish on walls, ceilings and floor. The furniture work surface was lined with leather, material that allows working on a comfortable and soft surface.
Inhabit this studio is working in a warm and illuminated cave, with sensory stimuli that change from one space to another, within a pleasant dynamic through the lights that change throughout the day.
