Following the liquid journey that begins with Beam Made Bourbon, Fermentation, and the Still Building, visitors to the James B. Beam Distilling Company's (JBBDCo) campus next head to The Casehouse. The tour reveals the bourbon process that has made the JBBDCo one of the world's most celebrated brands and features their entire family of brands under one roof.
Beam Suntory embarked on a multi-phase renovation of the JBBDCo campus under the creative direction of LOVE, with Bergmeyer as the campus architectural partner in creating a contemporary customer journey that would preserve the historical brand and connect it to a new generation of bourbon lovers.
This multimedia, hands-on educational exhibition was built around a highly volatile operation that produces three of Beam's most popular brands. Close collaboration between Bergmeyer and Beam's Operations Team was essential to designing and building this tour segment which is integrated with everyday operations. Beam Made Bourbon and The Casehouse successfully bridge the gap between a functioning bourbon enterprise and a visitor experience. Guests are immersed in this six-stage, multi-sensory exhibit to discover and learn all stages of the Beam distillation and maturation process.
As an interactive museum, visitors are invited to complete the process by "dumping" a barrel of Knob Creek and then hand-pick, fill, and personalize their own bottle of Knob Creek Single Barrel.
