Box No. 7 is a conceptual design inspired by and developed from a traditional type of vernacular house in the Gilan region of northern Iran. These houses embody distinctive climatic and cultural features unique to the area. In this project, an attempt has been made to reinterpret the traditional concepts of such houses through a contemporary architectural language, exploring new potentials in both function and typology. Suspension and introversion are two fundamental notions deeply rooted in this architectural tradition.
