1. Context & Concept
Nestled between the misty hills and streams of Lam Dong, Vietnam, this bungalow is conceived as a quiet eco-retreat where space, light, and nature exist as one. The architectural language embraces a Modern Minimalist and Wabi-Sabi approach, featuring rustic wooden structures, green roofs, and expansive floor-to-ceiling glass windows that blur the boundaries between the interior and the outdoors.
Instead of allowing technology to disrupt this tranquility, the project is driven by a core philosophy: "Technology behaving like nature". Technology is not treated as a cold, static machine; rather, it breathes with the architecture, adapting to environmental conditions and seamlessly elevating human emotions.
2. Target User & Lifestyle
This space is designed for modern individuals who seek mindful living and a restorative atmosphere. They pursue a "Peak Lifestyle" where advanced technology does not isolate them from the natural world but instead serves as an invisible bridge. It enhances their wellness, spatial continuity, and personalized interactions, providing an ultimate sanctuary for relaxation and family connection.
3. Creative Idea: "A Screen That Gathers Life Around It"
The heart of the innovation lies in redefining the role of the television. Moving away from the conventional "black hole" mounted on a wall, the display acts as a "Spatial Organism". Supported by an elegant mobile floor stand, the TV enables a seamless indoor-outdoor flow, adapting to different times of the day:
Morning Calm: The display moves to the outdoor deck, serving as an Ambient Canvas that complements morning yoga sessions amidst nature
Afternoon Discovery: It functions as an Interactive Hub, an open window for learning and exploration.
Evening Gathering: Returning to the center of the glass room, it transforms into an immersive "Digital Campfire," radiating warmth and creating an intimate cinematic experience.
