A family apartment in Kyiv’s modern Tetris residential complex, TET & RIS by Bogdanova Bureau explores the dialogue between structure and emotion. This project embodies the concept of sustainable luxury — a lifestyle built on natural materials, conscious design, and timeless aesthetics. Designed for a young family who shares the studio’s values, the home offers a balance of beauty, functionality, and environmental responsibility.
At the heart of the project is a commitment to longevity, mindfulness, and meaningful detail. TET & RIS blends locally crafted elements with global design pieces, creating a calm, sophisticated atmosphere. Materials such as marble, wood, brass, and tactile textiles were chosen for their durability and sensory richness. Ukrainian brands like Levens (parquet) and Bassa (furniture) were key collaborators, and artworks acquired at charity auctions in support of Ukraine add emotional and cultural depth. The result is a space where luxury is not loud — it reveals itself through craftsmanship, materiality, and intention.
The kitchen, fully designed by Italian brand Valcucine, reflects the quiet elegance that defines the project. With a focus on ergonomics and sustainability, it features seamlessly integrated V-ZUG appliances and a central island that functions as both a workspace and a social hub. The open-plan living area merges dining and lounging into one cohesive, light-filled space. A Rimadesio Long Island table and Poltrona Frau chairs anchor the dining area, while a Flexform Harper sofa, Poliform coffee table, and Burmester sound system create a cozy setting for relaxation. Lighting by Vibia enhances the warm, inviting atmosphere.
In the guest bathroom, a striking red marble sink becomes a sculptural focal point. Paired with Cea Design fixtures, lighting by Articolo Studios, and brass inlays in oak parquet, the space blends artistic expression with thoughtful detail. The master bedroom is conceived as a private retreat, centered around a Flexform Gregory bed, Ligne Roset Pumpkin chair, &Tradition side table, and a softly arched wall with built-in reading lights. A marble partition separates the sleeping area from a spacious walk-in wardrobe, complete with a bio fireplace and full-length mirror.
The master bathroom continues the theme of serenity with travertine, microcement, wood veneer, and a freestanding bathtub that evokes a spa-like ambiance. Lighting by Articolo Studios and Cea Design fixtures enhance the sense of comfort and wellness. The home office was designed for both focus and calm, featuring a Herman Miller Airia desk, Eames Soft Pad chair, and Flexform WINNY sofa to create a space that supports productivity and inspiration.
The children’s room balances imagination and practicality, with an Oliver Furniture bunk bed that offers both sleep and play zones. A Sancal Nudo desk and Gropius CS1 chair by Ukrainian brand Noom Home provide a setting for creativity and learning, while smart storage solutions allow the space to adapt as the children grow. The children’s bathroom, designed in light tones with Caribbean marble, combines playfulness with functionality, creating a cheerful and comfortable environment.
TET & RIS is a clear reflection of Bogdanova Bureau’s design philosophy — that good design is both emotionally resonant and environmentally conscious. The project demonstrates that sustainable luxury is not just a style, but a way of life rooted in thoughtful choices, material integrity, and quiet elegance that will remain relevant for years to come.
