Owners William Sussman and Valerie Duband retained Ehm Architecture to design the 4,400 square foot tenant improvement to an existing Sizzler Restaurant. The remodel involved redesign of the commercial kitchen, construction of a new bar, sidewalk café and take-out window, and the installation of commercial brewing equipment. The project was designed, permitted and built in the Coastal Zone within five months. This is the first in a chain of restaurant / microbreweries to be built in the United States.
