In recent years, Puebla—one of Mexico’s leading business centers—has become an icon of urban development. As a result, the city has faced new mobility challenges, prompting the search for solutions through design and architecture.
Paseo Destino is a project that serves as both a terrapuerto (bus terminal) and shopping center. Strategically located, the site offers an innovative solution combining functionality, efficiency, and connectivity. Distinguished by its horizontal layout, it ensures spacious areas and fluid circulation that naturally guide users toward the rear of the building, where an 11-bay bus terminal is located. The development enriches user experience through 60 retail spaces, an educational area, and various services distributed across its two levels.
Inside, hundreds of suspended white panels, paired with white-light fixtures, create elegant lighting that—combined with neutral-toned furnishings and the dominant use of black on facades and details—evokes luxury and modernity. Outside, warm lighting bathes the structure at night, welcoming users who, like the city itself, believe in evolution, modernity, and progress.
