The structure is compiled through a system of repetitive invariant units
which reproduce and transmit information to one another corresponding
altogether to a specified geometry. This idea is preconceived to
symbolically respect the preserved rich body of information that the
Jewish community has carried from one generation to the next. We tried
to arrest the dynamic forces extracted out of the history pages,
avoiding frozen lineaments upon which forms can be shaped, but instead
creating movement and field inside a contemporary urban network. The
project in fact, investigates the idea of unity and closeness between
people within a society always in movement. Movement is seen here as way
of life. Anyhow, this doesn’t mean that the architecture has to move
but it can be conceptualized within a urban context in which we want to
get all kinds of visitors, to participate in form of involvement in the
architecture by making them enter into a dialogue with the exterior,
interior as well as with each other. The design embraces the limitations and restrictions and uses them as inputs.
