Teleport is a temporary structure, a pop-up space on the streets of Bucharest. It hosts an innovative form of cinema experience that transports its viewers to another space outside the city, creating a special dichotomy between the inside and the outside. The design is experimenting with the idea of transparency. During the day the envelope is completely opaque and all you see is a mysterious black cube, that will fade in the background at dusk and reveal a partial transmission of light from the interior. The structure was crafted out from recycled and reclaimed materials, a statement for the low-cost architecture that can be equally aesthetic as any other.
