Powai is an up-scale suburb of Mumbai nestled within a lush green cover and a tranquil lake. When the Tekchandaney’s decided to purchase a beautiful apartment here, we knew that this project had great potential. The apartment spans 2,700 SFT and consists of 4 bedrooms along with a splendidly positioned living-room that oversees the Powai Lake. The six residents of this home span 3 generations, and this is an aspect that we had to be conscious of while designing. The family wanted a design that was not only rich, but also easy to maintain.

In order to ensure adaptability of sensibilities across each generation, we ensured that we keep the design of the mutual areas minimal and elegant, in order for it to suite a common palette. All the individual rooms however, were bespoke-designed to each generation’s own preferences of colour, textures and furniture.
