A site of 75 hectares, formerly an airport which is currently disused in the south west of Tehran, has been allocated for this project by Tehran’s municipality. The goal of this project is to restore Tehran’s importance as a regional strategic hub and a significant world city by creating a 21st “Global Information and Technology Centre” on this site. Considering the circumstances of a metropolis like Tehran and the monumental property of Tehran Technology Centre, this centre implants in our minds the concept of a tall height. Also, in terms of urban design and the city skyline, Milad tower and the tower of this center, create the hypothetical north-to-south line along Tehran, which proposes many variable and potential urban functions toward the improvement and modernization of the city of Tehran. Azadi Square can also be considered as yet another critical point.
