A technology hall for a manufacturer of high specification electronic car components combines futuristic luxury with the design of an interactive experience for clients and visitors. This detail-led, immersive concept showcases the firm’s capabilities to the full.
Throughout, textural contrasts are created between black resin flooring, undulating white walls, and matte black ceiling soffits that feature integrated Flos lighting. This retains a seamless visual impact where all services are hidden from view, although these are accessible to technicians behind removable panels in the gypsum walls.
Guests are guided though a series of chambers, punctuated by doorways edged in LED lighting to indicate different aspects of the tour. At each stage, custom furniture and display modules that reflect the curvature of the interior architecture in their forms allow the visitors to handle products and experience presentations in comfort.
The design for the hall also includes a reception room for meetings and refreshments that reflects the ultra modern theme but with a heightened sense of luxury. Classic elements such as Le Corbusier furniture are mixed with technology in the form of an iRoom system that not only controls the temperature and music, but also a hidden bar that at the touch of a screen reveals itself from behind sleek black glass doors.
