The UNHCR Tech Coffee is a compact interior project located in Geneva, Switzerland, designed as a multifunctional space within an institutional environment.
Conceived in strict accordance with UNHCR specifications, the project introduces a creative and fully customized architectural concept within a surface of approximately 1,075 sq ft.
The space is organized into two distinct yet complementary zones. The first area combines a discovery space, coffee point, and informal waiting zone, defined by custom-designed wooden furniture with a strong graphic identity. This environment creates a welcoming and immersive atmosphere, distinct from the surrounding office context.
The second zone integrates reception and workspaces through a sculptural, custom-made reception desk and modular furniture elements. Designed for flexibility, the layout accommodates both individual and collaborative use, allowing users to work, meet, or relax within the same space.
The project reflects a balance between functionality and design expression, transforming a technical environment into a warm, human-centered space tailored to everyday use.
