In January, after 12 years working in our loft on Franklin Street we moved to our new space located at 277 Broadway, Studio 1300. Reluctant at first, but we all love it here now. Bring sunglasses if you visit in the morning: it is very bright! Unlike Franklin Street we have great views, looking down to City Hall Park, out to the Brooklyn Bridge, and up to the gilded statue "Civic Fame" atop of the Municipal Building. Renovating our own space allowed us to flex our muscles a bit. We built out the space in just short of four weeks -- a minor miracle. We reconfigured the air conditioning for improved efficiency, and our lighting system makes use of the most advanced energy saving equipment including a light sensor for light harvesting and motion detector switching. We've taken the opportunity to reconsider some of the less celebrated details of office construction. We'll show you some of the door closers and handles under development on your next visit: still in the testing stages but we will accelerate the process for anyone who is interested!
