Set among former industrial yards on the Platte River, minutes from LODO, TAXI is the 9 acre site of the former yellow cab terminal. It can be seen from downtown or the freeway, marked on the skyline by its 300 foot radio tower. Phase 1 of TAXI resurrected the 28,000 square foot former terminal, generating flexible office space tailored for tenants that share a common desire to be part of a creative community. The Phase 2 building is a dramatic 550 foot long, 3-story 103,350sf structure extending across the length of the site. The result is a scheme of linear buildings which span over a loop drive, framing broad views and forming park spaces between. Completed as will bruder architects ltd.. with Alan Brown with Zeppelin Development, Harry Teague Architects, and david baker+partners architects.
