-Creating a store rooted in the community with local materials-
TAOCA COFFEE started from the Kurakuen store as a specialty coffee store for home roasting, and has a compact Okamoto store and a Ju-rinji store with a full range of roasting functions and eating and drinking spaces. We have been developing stores that have taken root in the meantime, and the fourth store, the Kobe Rokko store, will be a store with a baked confectionery factory as a new attempt.
We wanted to make it a place that deeply embodies the TAOCA COFFEE policy, which has been known locally as a store rooted in the region, and this time the concept was to create a store using all the materials of the region.
In terms of lumber, we collaborate with Sharewoods, which is active in Kobe, to saw Rokko cedar and use it for interior decoration and furniture. We are trying to create a beautiful landscape by contrasting the rough skeleton space by using it as a bench or center table.
In addition, we also use lighting products from Kobe and Ashiya as design lighting, and by asking the ironworks in Kobe for the production furniture, we thoroughly bring in local elements.
We hope that the materials of the region will connect the memories of the region and become the foundation of the region.
