Located at the junction of Tampines Avenue 2, Tampines East Station serves schools, residences and nearby Tampines North Park. Four entrances link the station to schools including Tampines Junior College, as well as HDB blocks in the vicinity. The station design is highlighted by the bold purple that marks the entrances and interior spaces. A glass façade accented by linear coloured-shades reflects the station’s place as one of the focal point within the precinct – a place for social interaction and intellectual exchange between commuters.
