Jose Antonio drew on his experience to create a fresh, vibrant new space, that allowed for an upscale buzz and vivid experience when ordering from a fast food window.
The design is a modern industrial concept with a large mural by Candida Pena of Candida Pena Arts www.candidapena.com. The seating area is a tiered layout using playful industrial piping and string lights to separate the space and give a more individual dining experience even in the small interior. Tall white contemporary stools offer seating to enjoy a meal under a large fan whilst exposed to the exterior of the shopping area. The walkways were organized in a U shape to be quick and easy to move the crowd for take away orders but offer subtle hints of thoughtful design with both a ramp and staircase. The riveted metal panels and brick walls with pops of color from the mural and a lime green shiplap ceiling enclose what is sure to become a favorite taqueria.
