Taco Casa Ubud is adding a bar concept to their flagship branch in Pengosekan, Ubud. The current restaurant is a fresh Mexican restaurant, selling fresh made food, with heavy turnover rate. This means there will be customers that come and go, especially during the rush hour. Meanwhile, the new bar concept is a more relaxed and chilled-out, where people can enjoy their meals with a sip of cocktails. To differentiate that, we created two different ambiences for both the restaurant and the bar. Since the restaurant needs to accommodate lots of customers, the table is set to be easily configured whenever needed. On the other hand, the bar is leaning towards a more masculine feel — with using exposed ceilings, polished cements wall finish, and warm lighting on dimmer — to add an element of flexibility.
