WZMH was engaged by Hines as the Architect of Record for this timber, talent and technology-oriented office development on Toronto’s waterfront. With an emphasis on social working spaces and tenant amenities, the design of these two mass timber buildings feature interconnected floor areas which spiral up around the massing, creating a stepped feature that is expressed on the facades. Working closely with the Design Architect, 3XN, WZMH has participated in all design and consultant coordination sessions, as well as meetings with Toronto Planning and Buildings, and Waterfront Toronto. Having worked collaboratively with the Design Architects and with Hines, WZMH has an excellent understanding of the processes and tasks required for the T3 Bayside project.
The Phase I project will introduce 251,000 square feet of cutting-edge office space to the eastern waterfront of Toronto. Adjacent to Phase I, a planned twin building offers a unique opportunity for companies to create an authentic corporate campus experience while accommodating future expansion.
