This Class A office building is soon to be the headquarters of a leading yearly music festival in downtown Austin. Preserving views of the Capital, the building’s unique geometry is influenced both by its environmental performance and its urban response.
The building consists of 147,000 square feet of office space on 11 floors. At the ground level, a double height lobby and coworking lounge allows employees the flexibility to work away from their desk and in a comfortable and casual environment. Roughly half of the building’s office space will be divided among two similar organizations, creating a critical mass of media influencers.Designed to achieve LEED Gold certification, its low-e curtain wall glazing helps to optimize heating and cooling loads while the s-shape mass responds to the site’s solar orientation.
