In late 2009, I was selected to design and construct a folly sculpture for display on the grounds of a public art museum in Wilmington, NC. My folly, titled "SwitchTower 4022," incorporates and interprets industrial aesthetic influences derived from my childhood in Pittsburgh, PA, and the industrial location of our current studios, known as "The Switchyard."
