The Swiss Cross Pavilion was built for the 2013 edition of the Clockenflap Music Festival Hong Kong and commissioned by the Swiss Consulate of Hong Kong.
Resultant from the crossing of Hong Kong’s famous cruciform tower typology and traditional log-construction method of Swiss chalet, the pavilion is providing four entrances and three distinct spaces which accommodate a bar, a stage for photo shooting and a 6meters long display table. Constructed out of the same repeated unit of solid wood the whole structure is built in stacked rows and stability is guarantee without any nails.
