• Suttatti Villa is a 7000 sq.ft. home in Pune, spread over a 9000 sq.ft plot. This was an uncomfortable fit and so a house that appears horizontally spread, while the interiors are vertically connected was created.
• The guest bedroom the living dining kitchen prayer room and study are designed on the ground floor, while the first floor has the rest of the three bedrooms for the family. A canopy has been created on the terrace that includes a bar and a gym.
• Italian marble has been used in the flooring throughout the house, except for the entertainment room where wooden flooring has been used.
• Bedrooms are designed with straight lines clean cuts and minimalistic tones as per client brief.
• Moving beyond architectural spaces, small interactive private areas are created in the first floor corridor including a small seating area that could be used as a coffee corner. This space overlooks the lawns and mood lights create a somber ambience.
• Overall the house exudes a vibrancy of a different kind.
