Sustainable River House Concept

Firm
This was a study in basic sustainable design, a river front property located in Minnesota.  The assignment focused on research and implementation of sustainable materials and techniques with a general visual representation of the concept.  Some of the components called out consisted of rain water collection, permeable concrete, metal roofing, natural ventilation, solar and wind power, and a living filter integrated into an on-site greenhouse structure.
