drobnik.kraus developed two spatial closed loops as the area of action for the play “Survival of a Salesman”. The main character’s feeling of entrapment and his despaired search for salvation through consultancy are the conceptual trigger for this sculpture. Composed out of 760 laser-cut aluminium pieces it fluctuates during the play between structure and decomposition, single element and entity. It is designed for two different stages in Vienna and Munich and therefore it has to be re-assembled and transported multiple times. This is in first place possible by the use of special screw joints normally used in the car industry.
