The stark geometric forms and the aqua-hued window wall make this iconic building distinctive among a skyline of beige concrete in Chicago's River North.
The 27-story tower is an elliptical volume sheared apart at its long axis, which allows for open corners and greater surface area of glass. For each of the maximum four residential units per floor, light enters along three sides. Large balconies project from the furthest points of each unit, framing unique views of the surrounding neighborhood and skyline. This residential tower intersects the cube form of the garage below, floating over the sidewalk and marking the main entrance of this distinct building.
