SUNWA TECHNOS OFFICE TW

SUNWA TECHNOS is a technology-intensive trading company. Headquarter is in Tokyo, Japan. This project is their office for the Business and Technology Department in Taichung, Taiwan. We delivered their needs with a meeting room, staff seating area, display area and storage facilities. Next door is their other office. We placed a door between the two offices for staff to work and communicate easier.
The focus of our design is to keep things practical, but not limited to that. We believe that a workplace must make people who work there feel comfortable and pleasant, mentally and physically, since 1/3 of their day is spent at work. Also, this venue is not only for company staff to work in, it also accommodates guests for seminars. Therefore, we aim to keep the layout spacious and easy access between areas. The raised ceiling got rid of claustrophobia, and the wood and coatings warmed up the whole space.
The aim of this project is to create a comfy and pleasant work environment. First thing was to get rid of the old light steel framing to raise the ceiling. Secondly, create a spacious entry and exit. Here, two separated walls with different heights create a layering sensation. The main facilities in the office are warm coloured solid wood with special coatings, such as the entrance, indoor seating area, storage cubes and walls. In whole, we wanted to deliver a homey feel with a simple colour matching. We hope the new layout brings a whole new vibe for staff and the company.
