The River Camp occupies a broad site dotted by river rock, driftwood and bed growth. Removed from the road by a meandering approach through a thick forest, the house emerges and presents four distinct lodge like volumes clad in seemingly ancient rock. Inspired by historic fishing camp organization, the stone clad cabins are stitched together by lighter, wood and glass walkways. The central cabin operates as the hub for the home, off of which three guest cabins extend into the landscape.
