PROJECT ANIMATIONhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DL_AfpGKP0OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT‘TO CREATE A CONTEMPORARY AND SUSTAINABLE LIVING ENVIRONMENT THAT WILL REFLECT GOOD IMAGE OF SULTANGAZI DISTRICT, OBSERVES OPINIONS AND SUGGESTIONS OF THE TITLE HOLDERS, IMPROVES AND ENHANCES ATTRACTION OF THE REGION, CONVERTING IT TO A CENTER OF ATTRACTION.’Targets identified accordingly are as follows;§ To create a public square that reflects good image of Sultangazi district,§ To readjust the non-zoned parcelling and ownership correlation under current condition, and thus to offer the title holders an opportunity for using,§ To create commercial and social areas that has been missing in the region,§ To design the project area, together with the residential function, as a mixed design, in addition to the service industries such as trade, shopping, entertainment and culture; and thus to make the region a living city day and night,§ A traffic order that will facilitate transportation in the project site.Different concepts have been tried to attain these targets, and functions that have been underlined and contemplated for the project site in particular have been determined.The followings are planned in the ‘PUBLIC SQUARE’ that is designed to enhance pedestrian circulation, give support to different functions and functions as entry to the city;· A BAZAAR composed of different sizes of stores· CULTURAL CENTRE· OFFICE · HOTEL AREA· SHOES MUSEUM to represent the shoemakers, which represent a developed industry in the region,Apart from these, the other functions connected to the pedestrian ways to thePUBLIC SQUARE in the project are as follows;· PUBLIC PARK· RESIDENTIAL AREA for a contemporary and sustainable structuring· SOCIAL FACILITY for municipal use within the park· SPORTS AREA in the park
