The first step, even before the project started, was the previous demolition of the place. We found false walls in drywall and plaster moldings, which hid the original cut-out walls, the slab with its structural mixture (concrete and steel), as well as an old exhaust machine.
The concept of the project was developed from contemporary Italian cuisine, proposed by the chef. In a reinterpretation of the traditional colors of Italy, white turns into beige and gives the tone to the internal walls, red takes on a clay tone and welcomes you on the facade. Green, on the other hand, adopts a pastel nuance and conceives the kitchen, totally open, which overflows through the exhaustion also exposed throughout its journey.
The traditional wooden furniture, with white fabric on the table and the bottles supported in a relaxed way refer to the Italian family canteens. The contemporary character is present in the minimalist environment, but at the same time bringing different textures and finishes, such as the exposed concrete strap, the ceiling treated with acoustic foam and the counter covered in granilite.
