This 5 story shophouse was used as a warehouse when we acquired it in 2011. We added recycled wall panels and glass partitions to create a small school on the ground floor and then progressively rebuilt floors starting with our open-style staircases and adding wood panelling, doors, windows from old and mostly abandoned village and urban buildings. Furnishings were obtained from various local markets and repaired in most cases by our craftfolks. The design is meant to showcase the typical eclectic living style found in Thai villages but with modern kitchen, bath, and utilities including high speed internet.
