The spatial design broke away from the traditional Japanese restaurant style by using a variety of new materials and skillfully integrating traditional Japanese elements. A wide variety of materials were carefully selected and combined with dark lighting effects to create a dining environment that is rich in washi style and modern aesthetics. This cozy and serene atmosphere allows people to not only taste the original flavor of the ingredients but also appreciate the Japanese aesthetics .
Soft washi weaves layers of partitions through the light, and hard stone reflects light and shadow to form walls - the open entrance is made up of combinations of light-transmitting woven partitions and white stone walls. The gentle translucent partition with warm white stone not only guarantees the transparency of the space but also adds a touch of mystery. The delicate logo reflected shadow on the stone floor bring a little poetry mood. Rough translucent foam aluminum plate in the role of the light, that is reflecting its own texture and also reveals the semi-transparent scene behind it, for the dining space to bring a half-hidden virtual effect, so that the entire partition is translucent without losing the sense of privacy.
The semi-transparent white Kumiko-like steel panel is suspended in the air like clouds in the evening sunlight, vaguely revealing the towering wine cabinet behind it. The light of the wine cabinet is also reflected to the wine bottles with the curve of the washi , and the wine cabinet is like a translucent jade mat showing the wine, and the soft texture makes the wine as if it were a work of art to be displayed in front of the guests.
The dim light and quiet atmosphere of the communal seating area. Rough rammed earth and black stone bring a rustic elegance to the whole space. The cozy atmosphere with the rough greenery is like being in the depths of peaceful nature, enjoying the “sunset in the sky” and getting deeper into it.
Omakase Cuisine and Teppanyaki are gently situated in the center like two gardens . Unlike the public seating area, Omakase and Teppanyaki are a little more modest, and the partitions made of rammed earth, translucent Japanese washi, aluminum foam and wood veneer that are interspersed to form these two spaces, making the two cooking stations the highlight of the whole space. Refined Japanese steel knives and art craft liven up the space. The soft light on the countertop and the white semi-transparent Kumiko-like steel panel like the sunset glow in the sky echo each other, making the atmosphere of the whole space more gentle and beautiful.
The combination of light-colored finish-coat paint and dark wood veneer make the whole space soft and elegant, and the wooden Kumiko-like steel panel with inlaid foam aluminum and natural stone and plant accents make the private room for four people more warmer and comfortable.
High ceiling with slanting ceiling design, leisurely lyrical and elegant temperament, from the slanting roof scatters natural light sprinkled to the private room for twelve people, so that the whole space atmosphere paved with a soft veil, rough rammed earth material with the old yellow cover paint also gives the room a rich texture. Ground landscape and exquisite artwork decorates with, the shadow brings a sense of rustic flexibility. The combination of elegant space and soft lighting make the whole space comfortable as if covered in evening sunshine, and the foldable partition door allows flexible adjustment of seating in the private room, which can be divided into two to become two independent private rooms for six people. The combination of various spatial methods can meet the needs of different people.
The combination of old iron plate and dark finish-coat paint create a dignified look for the entrance to the VIP room. Round wall sconces and floral arrangements add a vitality to the entrance. The natural stone and wall art in the corridor leading to the dining area are elegant enhanced by the soft light. The light-permeable woven partitions and the floristry also make the whole corridor space more energetic. The corridor space is like a quiet cave under the dim light, giving people a sense of surprise.
The dark color of the dining area is made of finish-coat paint and black natural stone, which bring rich texture under the effect of light, making the VIP room more dignified. The same woven partition and soft light echo, with Japanese bonsai make the whole wall show rich but not dazzling. Various shapes in the space under the wrapping of lighting show the texture to the fullest, so that each customer in the enjoyment of food at the same time, but also can feel a strong noble dining experience.
The design of the entire restaurant focuses on the pursuit of detail and quality, and through the clever use of materials, color, light and shadow, and other design techniques, creates a dining environment that embodies traditional Japanese aesthetics as well as modern beauty. From the light-permeable woven partitions at the entrance to the distinctive design of each private room, the design demonstrates the ingenuity of design research and a deep understanding of Japanese culture. It is believed that this design will not only attract customers to taste the food, but also become a place for them to get good memories.
