Two departments of the Süddeutsche Verlag want to break out of their previous cell-office structure. They wish for new open-plan spaces adapted to their various requirements.
For the very different work processes of the employees, a very individual room program is developed in cooperative workshops and discussions. An open as well as closed structure is to emerge. For this purpose, furniture elements can be individually closed or opened depending on the requirements. Altogether, meeting rooms, telephone booths, a quiet room serving as a retreat and a lounge kitchen area for communication give rise to a new working world. This change is underlined by bright colours and natural materials.
