The site was a golf course lot and would have fantastic views from
both the front and back of house from the top floor. In order to take advantage
of the views, we decided to do a ?Tree house? concept and put all the main
rooms on the very top floor. (We added an elevator to overcome any objections
to having to climb 2 flights of stairs) We choose to do a modern style house
because there are no other modern style houses on the market and we felt the
style went well with the site and our concept. We used a lot of green products
and techniques and limited the building footprint on the site.
