The
Metz student residence is made up of four buildings arranged around a patio,
that serves as a meeting place for the students. The guiding principle behind
the facade is a system that is simple to put in place, visually rich and
economical to construct. Scales of tinted concrete have a different colour surface
depending on the building. The crenellated envelope thus reveals a variety of
vibrant shades creating a permanent sense of movement.
