Type
The program called for indoor and outdoor viewing spaces on a heavily wooded site, which is home to an existing power plant which mirrors the aesthetic of the iconic Seaholm Power Plant across Cesar Chavez. The project seeks to incorporate the old building shell and reroute the Town Lake jogging trail from the lakeshore, up to the street and back. Landscape and the experience of the athlete is as important here as the function and careful architecture of the theater.
