The municipal housing portfolio of a town near the German-Polish border was to be privatised. This portfolio featured a wide range of building types from distressed historical buildings to timber frame housing to prefabricated GDR slab blocks.
RBA was tasked by an international investor with carrying out a technical due diligence and evaluating risks and costs associated with this portfolio. Due to the nature of the portfolio RBA discovered a host of construction defects, infestation by insects, incidences of dry rot and deleterious materials.
