The existing suburban house type consists of caves, living space and bedrooms on the ground floor and an unoccupied attic. The proportions of the different kind of space are similar. The program requires the construction of large new spaces. The owners needed to double the living surfaces. The extension lays in the border area next to the neighbor property. This area was not an aedificnadi area. That's why the project raises off above the ground and frees the space underneath. Its characteristic shape fits the junction between the gable roof of the main building and a template that corresponds to the high of the house and enable the creation of mezzanine spaces. Un buffer room is defined in the program between children's rooms and the parent's one. This space allows access through to the garden and defines the areas appropriated by the office and the polyvalent space. The new part of the house built in wood contrasts with the existing building.
